Hey Darren! What do you do at OrderCounter?
I handle all the billing, simple accounting, and some business analytics.
Sounds simple enough, but give yourself some credit. You keep the team and our partners in check and in good working order! What’s the coolest thing you’ve worked on, or are currently working on?
Outside of work the coolest thing I worked on was Linear Programming models to help measure production decisions. Inside of work, the coolest thing I am working on is a decision-making model that uses data to assist in everyday business decisions. I enjoy all this type of work because it’s what I went to school for, and there is nothing cooler than seeing your work influence decisions within your company.
Who inspires you? Best meal ever?
My Father. My dad’s homemade venison cube steaks with garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, and roasted asparagus.
You’re pretty outgoing and always down to make everyone laugh. What are you passionate about?
Wildlife Conservation, History, Aviation, Movies, and Food
