Inspiring Connections: Conference Recap

What a wonderful Inspire we just had! OrderCounter took the spotlight, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a table without an OrderCounter Partner. This year, we sponsored name badges, the welcome gift, and the Monday morning Breakfast.

As many of you know, Inspire is about engagement. People don’t talk to you for three days and then you leave. You are asked to engage, articulate your needs, and work through some very tough issues together at your tables. It helps that they’re at some of the most beautiful places in the world, except that one time in Clearwater when it was below freezing.

Inspire is all about engagement, and having OrderCounter representation everywhere puts our partner concerns front and center.

Thomas Barrineau IV stood in front of a capacity crowd crying out for a call to action from the RSPA to protect reseller ability to do Cash Discounting because of the incredible amount of resources it provides the end user.

Thomas Greenman of Skurla’s spoke at his table about employees being hinge pins and how if that one person left it could cause complete chaos in his organization. These things are real issues that so many resellers face when they are not backed by billions of dollars of venture capital money.

Lunches would follow and even though we try to separate to be with people we don’t see very often, the OrderCounter family tends to gravitate towards each other.

And, of course, Inspire isn’t complete without excursions. This year, OrderCounter partners and friends went to the El Yunque rainforest to enjoy nature and catch some of the most beautiful scenery in all of Puerto Rico (and by that I mean Steve).

Finally, it isn’t an RSPA show without some parties. We can be business all day, but at night time we want to let our hair down and have a good time bonding with our partners and creating some lasting connections.
