Meet the Team: Jack Trinque

OC23-Meet-the-Team--JACK-min

So Jack, tell us, what do you do at team OrderCounter?

I’m the Technical Support Manager and also the person in charge of Inventory Management and Deployment at OrderCounter. I lead the team that tackles any technical issues our customers have with our products. I make sure their problems get solved quickly and effectively.

I also help to manage the hardware and software components we need for the systems. I make sure we have the right stuff in stock and ready to go. And when a new system needs to be set up for a client, I oversee the whole deployment process. That means making sure everything is installed properly and on time.

Alright, we work with restaurants all day. Tell us – what’s THE BEST meal you’ve ever had?

The best meal I have ever had was a wagyu steak grilled at home. The meat was cooked perfectly where it would almost melt in your mouth when eating it.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

Most people don’t know that I used to be a big teen masters bowler. Almost every other weekend I would go to tournaments all over the southeast. I was able to win enough of these to almost fully pay for college through scholarships. A few years I also qualified to go to the teen master’s final tournament hosted in Las Vegas.

What are you passionate about? I am a passionate movie buff. A lot of nights you can find me at the movie theater either watching a new movie or rewatching something I enjoyed in the past.

Who inspires you? I am inspired by my father. He is a very hard-working business owner who always pushes me to do better. He is one of the biggest reasons for my work ethic and how I hate to leave anything unfinished.

What’s the coolest thing you’ve worked on?

One of the most rewarding experiences in my role was leading the establishment of our new support team members. I took charge of training and onboarding the team members, making sure they were well-prepared to handle their responsibilities. Additionally, I helped to complete procedural guidelines to empower them to tackle their tasks effectively and efficiently.

Guiding this initiative was incredibly fulfilling, as I witnessed the team evolve into a skilled and cohesive unit. The collaboration across the team not only enhanced our customer support capabilities but also highlighted the importance of streamlined processes and clear communication in a dynamic work environment.

What is your favorite part about working here?

My favorite part of working at OrderCounter is the bond between everyone at the office. We all treat each other like a family and are truly there to help if anyone needs it.
